Constraint-based features for CSS?

GSS (Grid Style Sheets) is fairly old, the last updates are back in 2015, but it adds constraint-based (cassowary) features to CSS and calls it CCSS (Constraint CSS).

Could any of these ideas be adopted into actual CSS?
